How does SEEDS4Schools become our WISEdata Vendor?

  • The district must have student WISEid's in SEEDS4Schools.
  • The district turns off the sharing of special education data from their SIS.
  • The district selects SEEDS4Schools in WISEdata>Secure Home>Ed-Fi Credentials
  • The district communicates with SEEDS4Schools (
    • The district’s first day of school
    • The date their initial data should be sent
    • Which SIS the district uses (for ability to communicate when needed)
  • When SEEDS4Schools receives the district's credentials from DPI the SEEDS4Schools database will be updated and the data will be sent on the date given at 4 PM.
  • The results are returned to the district, via SEEDS4Schools support ticket, for the initial import of data.
  • The data will be sent to WISEdata real time (there may be a few minute delay) when it is updated in SEEDS4Schools.
