CMS4Schools Servers Issues - June 26

6:45 AM Central - One of our CMS4Schools servers is experiencing some issues. We are looking into it and hope to have a resolution shortly.

    7:30 AM Central - We have resolved the primary problem and are working on secondary issues that have appeared so that we can restore services on the CMS4Schools server affected by this issue.

    8:00 AM Central - We are currently attempting to resolve the final known issue which is a database connection issue. We are addressing that issue right now and hope to have things running again shortly. Thank you for your patience!

    8:05 AM Central - All issues have been resolved now. Everything is operational again.

    The primary issue was a database connection issue that was originated during some maintenance overnight. After the maintenance, everything appeared to be running well. However, several hours after the maintenance concluded problems started to occur. Those problems quickly filled up log files which filled up a considerable amount of disk space to the point that there was no available room left for the server to operate.

    To resolve the issue, we cleared unnecessary log files to open the disk space again so that we could address the database connection issues. We then addressed the database connection issues so that service could be brought back up again.

    Again, we apologize for the difficulties experienced. As a result of the database connection maintenance done, the problems experienced occasionally over the past few months with database  connections should be much more resilient to improve service.

    8:33 AM - Sorry for the additional update. We appear to be still having issues with customers being able to login to their CMS4Schools Admin that are served from the cms1.cms4schools.com server. The public side of the websites are fine. Only issues are logging into the CMS4Schools Admin. We are looking into the issue to resolve.
