How to Recreate Deleted Page Contents Using a Cached Page URL from Google

There is a charge to restore pages from backup. When page contents are accidently deleted it can often be recreated by getting a cached copy of the page from Google. You will be able to get the URL of any active links on the page that was deleted as well as copy the text from the page.

Go to Google.com and:

  1. Paste the URL of the page into the search box not the address box. Press enter or click the magnifying glass to start the search.
  2. Click the down arrow next to the page URL.
  3. Click on Cached.

You will see the content of the cached page. You can copy and paste text into the tools you are using to recreate the lost content. On the cached page click on a link to get the URL you will need to recreate a missing link.
