App Builder

The app builder is where you update the display of the app. This includes the slideshow, menu, toolbar, and site images.

Slideshow

The information added in the slideshow builder appears as the header of your app upon launch.

Slideshow Builder Options

  1. Change the order of the image clicking, holding, and dragging the image to the desired place in the image order.
  2. Add a new slideshow image.
  3. Save changes to an existing slideshow image.
  4. Select the trashcan to Delete the existing image. After deleting the image, you can add a new image. 
    Note: slideshow images need to be between 1536 x 672 pixels and 3120 by 1560 pixels. 
    Note: The images pictured here are 640 x 280 pixels in size.
  5. Tickering Text (optional): Add text that will scroll across the bottom of your slideshow image. 
    Note: This text will only scroll across the slideshow image it has been added too.
  6. URL to Open (optional): Paste a URL that will open when the image is selected.
  7. Check the Open Externally checkbox to have the link open outside of your app.
  8. Visible From (optional): Select the date you would like the image to start showing in the app.
  9. Visible Until (optional): Select the date you would like the image to stop showing in the app.
  10. Select how long (in seconds) you would like the image to display.
  11. Select Delete to delete the image and it's associated information.

Menu

In the menu, you can create sections and menu items and order them.

In the menu, each section will display and the items added will display in the section next to their icon.

If you are using the Grid Menu display, your home page will be populated with the menu items in a grid format.

Menu Builder

  1. Section Heading: Hover over the section heading and use the "+" to add new menu items to the section. To change the order of sections, use the up and down arrows. Select the item to change the header text.
  2. Menu Item Display: Hover over the item to see the options to drag the item to change the order and to delete the item. Select the menu item to make any changes to the item.
  3. Add Section: Add a new section to the menu.
  4. Save: Save any changes.

Add/Edit Menu Item

  1. Image: Select an image from the library or upload an image to display with the menu item.
  2. Label: Enter the label that you would like to display in the menu
  3. Disabled: Select the checkbox to disable the item. The item will still display in the Menu Builder but it won't display in the app.
  4. Function: Select "Content", "Content Folder", "Feature", or "Link".
    • Content: Select the type of content you would like the menu item to open to. The options are App, Calendar, Contact, Document, Form, Location, and Picture. After selecting the content type, an additional dropdown will appear where you can choose the specific content item you would like to display.
    • Content Folder: Select the type of content folder you would like the menu item to open to. The options are App Folder, Calendar Folder, Contact Type, Document Folder, Form Folder, Info Page Folder, and Location folder. See the Feature: Content Folders article for more information about content folders.
    • Feature: Select the feature that you would like the menu item to open to. Adding a feature will display all content (including folders). 
    • Link: Paste the URL for the link you would like to open. Select the "Open in External App" checkbox if you would like the link to open outside your app. 

 

Toolbar 

Display

 On the home/newsfeed, this the toolbar at the bottom of the app.

Toolbar Builder

  1. Click and drag to change the order of the items. When hovering, there will by an "X" you can select to delete an item. Click on any item to be able to make changes to the item.
  2. Add Item: Add a new item to the toolbar.
  3. Save: Save any changes

Edit Item

  1. Image: Select an image from the library or upload an image to display with the menu item.
  2. Label: Enter the label that you would like associated with the toolbar item.
  3. Function: Select "Call", "Content", "Content Group", "Email", "Feature", "Link", or "Menu".
    • Call: Enter the phone number you would like populated when the item is selected.
    • Content: Select the type of content you would like the menu item to open to. The options are App, Calendar, Contact, Document, Form, Location, and Picture. After selecting the content type, an additional dropdown will appear where you can choose the specific content item you would like to display.
    • Content Group: Select the type of content folder you would like the menu item to open to. The options are App Folder, Calendar Folder, Contact Type, Document Folder, Form Folder, Info Page Folder, Location Folder, Picture Folder, and Quick Link Folder. See the Feature: Content Folders article for more information about content folders.
    • Email: Enter the email you would like populated in the emails To field when the item is selected.
    • Feature: Select the feature that you would like the menu item to open to. Adding a feature will display all content (including folders). 
    • Link: Paste the URL for the link you would like to open. Select the "Open in External App" checkbox if you would like the link to open outside your app. 
    • Menu: When added, selecting the item will open the menu. 

Site Images

Logo: The logo used for your app. This will also be the default image for the content folders and content items if no other image is selected when adding the item.

Background: The image that appears in the background of the app.

Both your logo and background image will be set during your app development. Contact support if you ever need to update these items.

Theme Builder

The Theme Builder is used to populate your branding throughout your app. Your branding will be set up during app development. Contact support if you would like your branding updated.
