In the I-3, Tab II Assessment, B. Statewide Assessments. If the student is in grade during which a state assessment is required, and the radio button by the state assessment is checked, but nothing is checked by the next question (example: "Forward Wisconsin Accommodations Necessary?") no red flag goes up when "Save as Final" is clicked. I know this is not an audit/review issue this five-year-cycle, but it IS a problem if we don't have that documented, particularly if the student requires accommodations for statewide tests but they are missing in this section of the IEP, especially in regards to the ACT. If this isn't caught by a district person (we're all human and that happens! :-) and gets mailed out, that will require us to have an IEP meeting to add those things in when the time comes to enter the accommodations in the PNP/ACT accommodations portal.
The other red flag that seems to be missing is in the I-3, Tab V Program Summary, the section
"PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS OR SUPPORTS FOR SCHOOL PERSONNEL THAT WILL BE PROVIDED." If the I-3 was finalized but neither the N/A box was checked, and all text boxes in that section were blank, there is no red flag. Again, I know this is not an audit/review issue this five-year-cycle, but it is a problem if we don't have that documented one way or the other. Maybe the other sections with the N/A option have the same problem?
